Kunnukara service cooperative bank comes under the Kalamassery legislative constituent assembly. The Bank serves over ten thousand members in class A, and others in class B, the Bank has been upgraded to a class 1 special grade bank.

Kunnukara service cooperative bank provides the community a variety of services that complement its banking services; Onam market, fertiliser depot through Krishi Bhavan, medical assistance, educational assistance.  In addition, as per the Kerala government’s care home scheme, entrusted by the government 13 houses were built under the responsibility of the Kunnukara service cooperative bank.

Under the bank’s purview, Neethi medical store, supermarket,  and consumer storeroom are  operating at South Aduvassery location.  The bank’s recent initiatives are Life Fish Market and the newly launched Sahakari Pension Scheme. Apart from this the bank’s head office has been modernised and fully air-conditioned, the Bank has started a fully air conditioned evening branch at Kunnukara, operating from 2 pm to 8 pm.  Apart from this the bank owns a library ,mini conference hall with a/c and ambulance service.
